On Monday, 23 June 2025, we had the genuine pleasure of hosting a distinguished Brazilian delegation in Lagos, a meaningful step in deepening the cultural, creative, and economic bonds between Brazil and Nigeria.

Led and thoughtfully coordinated by our CEO, Chidinma Daniels, the visit was more than a diplomatic gesture; it was a beautifully curated journey through the heart of Nigeria’s rich artistic and cultural landscape. The goal was simple but powerful: to connect through shared heritage, creativity, and possibility.
Over the course of the day, the delegation experienced an inspiring lineup of immersive sessions and visits to some of the country’s most iconic cultural spaces:
- John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History, Guided by Qudus Onikeku, this stop offered deep insight into the scientific and spiritual intelligence of the Ifa numeric system: a remarkable meeting of culture and knowledge.
- Oba Oniru’s Palace: A majestic setting for cultural diplomacy and meaningful dialogue on how to build sustainable creative partnerships that honour tradition while embracing innovation.
- Terra Kulture: Hosted by Bolanle Austen-Peters, the delegation was treated to a vivid expression of Nigerian storytelling through art, performance, and education.
- XQZ Moi: A delightful stop with comedy icon Ali baba, who shared the fascinating evolution of Nigerian stand-up comedy and its role in shaping public discourse.
- Nike Art Gallery: A visual feast guided by Nike Davies-Okundaye, home to over 8,000 works of art that capture the soul and diversity of Nigeria’s artistic voice.
- Livespot Entertarium: Hosted by Darey and Deola Art-Alade, this vibrant space was a celebration of entertainment, craftsmanship, and contemporary creativity. Here, Femi Olayebi and other talented exhibitors also displayed the beauty and skill behind Nigerian leather artistry.
- FilmOne Entertainment: Kene Okwuosa welcomed the delegation to West Africa’s largest IMAX cinema, sparking rich discussions about the present and future of Nigeria’s growing film industry.
- Femi Handbags: At Femi Olayebi’s atelier, the delegation witnessed how world-class craftsmanship and design are thriving in Nigeria’s fashion and accessories scene.
This visit was far more than a tour, it was an exchange of values, a celebration of creativity, and a testament to what can be achieved when people come together with curiosity, respect, and a shared vision for the future.
We’re incredibly proud of the connections made, the stories shared, and the potential ignited. Deep gratitude to all the brilliant minds, artists, institutions, and leaders who made this possible your passion and generosity shaped an experience we’ll all remember. At its core, this mission reminded us that cultural bridges aren’t built in a day but with heart, collaboration, and creativity, they can span continents.
